[lastfm]Ray LaMontagne[/lastfm], [lastfm]Ben Harper[/lastfm], and [lastfm]Beady Eye[/lastfm] all announced today that they will be performing free, streaming concerts from The Ed Sullivan Theater as part of the Live on Letterman series. With a giant stack of awards, sold out shows, and armies of loyal fans between them, these three critically acclaimed acts represent the hybrid of unique talent and widespread success that Live on Letterman has become known for.
GRAMMY award winners, Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs will take the stage on May 11th for the full length streaming show, just before they take off on a national tour. In addition to blasting out of your radio, you’ve heard Ray’s music on countless television placements. Here he is performing “Trouble” off his first album by the same name.
Ben Harper has also raked in a couple of GRAMMYs over his almost 20 year career. Ben will be hitting the stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater on May 18th. The man has an uncanny ability to bring both laid back jams and full out rockers in his high intensity live show. Here’s the video for the first single off his upcoming album “Give Till It’s Gone.”
You probably know this by now, but Beady Eye is made up of three former members of Oasis, featuring one of rock’s greatest front men, Liam Gallagher. On June 22nd they’ll be rocking the Ed Sullivan Theater and your computer with their first live streaming concert from the legendary venue. Here’s their video for “Bring the Light.”
