What a show last night at Lincoln Hall. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Wanda Jackson[/lastfm] played to a packed house, charmed everyone and showed spirit and energy that would put many twentysomethings I know to shame. In case you didn’t know, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jack White[/lastfm] produced her newest album (The Party Ain’t Over), performed on guitar with her on Letterman recently, and has used his influence, fame, pull, whatever you wanna say, to turn a younger generation on to a rock ‘n’ roll pioneer (and hall of famer). Gotta love the fact that when she plays on Later With Jools Holland, Jools introduces her, then walks right over to the piano and plays along.
