Your laptop or tablet can open up a new view to the Vieux Carre. They’ve got New Orleans wired, with live webcams at all the Fat Tuesday party spots. (So please do not blame me for what you may see, okay?)

While you’re listening to XRT’s Mardi Gras soundtrack all day, you can see the costumed revelers at Bourbon and St. Peter streets on Earthcam, without feeling obligated to go with the calls to take off your shirt for beads. Though, of course, it is your kitchen.
