Will a follow up album be released soon? Radiohead fans have begun to speculate that The King of Limbs is only part one of two.

Fans highlight a number of different factors that contribute to their theory. The King of Limbs was titled TKOL1 when placing orders for the album, leading fans to believe TKOL2 could be on its way. They have also taken “Separator,” the last track on the album, to a literal meaning that bridges the gap between the two albums. Fans also recall in 2000 when Radiohead released Kid A and followed that up less than a year later with Amnesiac which was recorded during many of the same sessions.

All theories at this time are pure suspicion. For the time being fans will have to make due with The King of Limbs until further evidence or word from the band itself! You can stream the album below:

Well the album does seem to be a bit short time-wise. Or succinct and economical, depending on how much Radiohead you want. I’m in the first camp, if anyone’s looking for me.

I couldn’t believe the album was over so quickly when I first listened to it. Part 2 would be a needed and welcome surprise.

I’m satisfied and content with The King of Limbs, but if there were to be a part two, I would be blown away and completely surprised. Getting part one so quickly was amazing enough. To think that there are even more unreleased tracks out there from this recording session is beyond incredible.
