Dude, you ate that?  Yes.  Thanks to the good folks @ The Butcher & Larder on Milwaukee Ave., I tried something I’ve not had before last week.  Pork heart stuffed with Toulouse sausage.  It was a Valentine’s Day special, ya know?  Seared it and finished it off in the oven for 20-25 mins.  Served with a nice side of veggies, it was a pretty decent meal.

Speaking of the butcher’s shop, it might be worth your while to check ‘em out.  If you’re into knowing where your food comes from and what goes into it, reading an entry or two on the blog will warm your, uh, heart.
