Flashback ’86 always takes me back to my early childhood in Minneapolis, recapturing fond memories of simpler times. Even though I was only a year old, I remember it very well, thanks to my parents bringing me up properly.

Wendy; I have a suggestion for tomorrows flashback (1969). A song I have not heard played on XRT for maybe 20-25 years! An under appreciated jem from The Beach Boys 20/20 album.

Cool, Ted! “Cabinessence” is such a great song! I think the Beach Boys post-Pet Sounds era is very under appreciated, it really proves that they were far more than just a surf and cars band. And I’m only 25.

Great show Wendy…especially te end with Johnny Winter and Boz Scaggs playing Loan Me a Dime with Duanne Allman soaring on slide guitar. Thanks for making Saturday mornings the best on XRT. Hope I don’t get Terri mad cause Breakfast with the Beatles is fantastic too.
