Video: The National Performs “Conversation 16″ Live On Letterman

[lastfm]The National[/lastfm] stopped by the Late Show With David Letterman Tuesday night to perform “Conversation 16” from their album High Violet. The last time they visited Letterman, they brought along [lastfm]Sufjan Stevens[/lastfm] (who collaborated with the band on High Violet), but this time they performed with [lastfm]Richard Reed Parry[/lastfm] of [lastfm]Arcade Fire[/lastfm].

[lastfm]The National[/lastfm] will be teaming up with Parry again in late April, when they open for [lastfm]Arcade Fire[/lastfm] during their three night stand of XRT Shows. The first two shows on April 24th and 25th are sold out, but a third show on the 22nd was recently added. XRT VIP’s can buy tickets in a special pre-sale Friday, February 4th from 10am-10pm, or you can try to win a pair from XRT here.
