I was here for the big one in 67 (when my mom sent me to the store and I came back with a Revell model of a Flying Fortress…hey, I was lucky the hobby store was even open!) and the next biggest in 99 which was spread out over a few days and I didn’t have to go to work, but now it’s 2011 and we’re gonna need some tunes:

“Take This Job and Shove It” by [lastfm]Johnny Paycheck.[/lastfm] Put the shovel in the right place and you’ll get perfect leverage.
“Dig It” by the [lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm]. See if you can find the 15 minute jam version…that’ll get you to the street.
“Never Hit Your Grandma With a Shovel” by [lastfm]Spike Jones[/lastfm]. She might have hot chocolate and cookies waiting when you’re done.
“Dig In” by [lastfm]Lenny Kravitz[/lastfm]. That sidewalk isn’t gonna clear itself.
“Scrape Away” by the [lastfm]Jam[/lastfm]. Put the speakers outside and this track will clear 50 percent of the snow by itself!
