Albert Collins getting "Snowed In"
Our Artist of the Week tonight will be “The Iceman” Albert Collins. We’ll also be sure to play another Etta James song this week and Chuck Berry, too. In fact, we’ve included a Chuck Berry with Etta James video in this post.

On the eve of what could be a big winter storm in Chicago we’ll play the song by Albert Collins that he wrote while snowed-in here during the blizzard of ’79.
Etta, who just turned 73 this month, is reportedly suffering from leukemia and dementia. Chuck Berry had to leave the stage early after he appeared to collapse during a show in Chicago on New Year’s Day. This past Wednesday he was in good form when he performed his once monthly gig at his favorite club in his hometown of St. Louis.
