[pullquote quote=”We put it together at a record pace as we had four months.” credit=”Perry Farrell”]As we reported a few months ago, Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival will be branching out to South America this year.
Taking place on April 2-3, Lollapalooza south will be headlined by Perry Farrell himself, the festival’s spiritual Godfather with his band [lastfm]Jane’s Addiction[/lastfm], along with the [lastfm]Killers[/lastfm] and Chicago’s [lastfm]Kanye West[/lastfm]. Give you flashbacks to 2009?
[photogallerylink id=46384 align=left]Chile’s artist lineup in O’Higgins Park also boasts a fine and diverse array of former Chicago Lolla acts like [lastfm]Yeah Yeah Yeahs[/lastfm], the [lastfm]Flaming Lips[/lastfm], and [lastfm]The National[/lastfm]. The full line-up is available over at lollapalooza.com.
If you don’t have your passport on-hand, we’ll still be able to meet up in Grant Park on August 5-7 for what’s sure to be an excellent weekend of music. As always, you can count on XRT to bring you full festival coverage.
