The Decemberists
[photogallerylink id=3902 align=left]This week, Decemberists released a new, exclusive limited edition 7” single in conjunction with Record Store Day.
The release featured “January Hymn,” a cut from their forthcoming album, The King Is Dead, due out January 18. It’s a typical Decemberists song, all echoed, layered acoustic guitar and Colin Meloy’s singular pipes, toned down into a soulful, wistful vibe.
The B-side is a cover of the Grateful Dead‘s “Row Jimmy.”
