Hear Tegan And Sara Cover The Chipmunk Song “Christmas Don’t Be Late”

A few years back, in an interview with Q Guitar, Sara Quin of [lastfm]Tegan and Sara[/lastfm] suggested that in order to play her “Walking With A Ghost” properly, you should make your voice sound “a bit like a Chipmunk and a bit like [lastfm]Cindy Lauper[/lastfm].” So, that in mind, her and her sister’s cover of Alvin And The Chipmunks’ perennial Holiday favorite “The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late)” shouldn’t be all that surprising.

I always did think Tegan and Sara sounded a little like chipmunks. (But in the best possible way, of course.)
