The Doors In Film School

ba 385 The Doors In Film SchoolToday’s assignment: Watch “The Blue Angel” and write a song about rejected love. That might have been on the blackboard at a classroom at UCLA in the 60s where legendary silent film director Josef Von Sternberg (the subject of a new biography)¬†taught a film class that included future [lastfm]Doors[/lastfm] Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek (perhaps you’d like to share that conversation with the rest of the class?) Great Clip. Marlene Dietridch was the ultimate femme fatale. The essense of sexuality in the 1930’s. I love those movie stills of her with a hat & tie on smoking a ciggarette. Blue Angel is a dark flick, I saw it twice last year in a film class, a real classic. I would love to hear the regular guy review this one. I Can’t Help It.
