One huge and glaring omission: Hootie and the BlowChunks.

Seriously, nothing can put someone under quicker than their lame, tame, paint-by-the-numbers “music”. Horrible, to say the least.

Hmmm… I can’t imagine falling asleep to music I don’t like… I wonder why you can, I want something relaxing & soothing & most importantly, something I like… Jim Byrnes comes to mind.

Mozart sounds good too, although not Don Giovanni.

  2. Melissa Berry says:

You forgot Tori Amos. On Little Earthquakes, I’m out by “Silent All These Years”.

  3. Brad Stein says:

Any Moody Blues but particularly A Question of Balance, Every Good Boy.., Days of Future Passed..Beautiful orchestration and melodies.
Jethro Tull.. Stand Up..while some of the material is up-tempo the blend of flute, string instruments and percussion is very relaxing…
Pink Floyd. Wish you were here..hypnotic synth vibe at times but excellent falling asleep material if you can get past machine effects.. Sleep well.
