blitzentrapper Trapper Blitzes Lolla First of all, there were dragonflies. Last day of Lollapalooza in the heat of the day and I have sought out one of my favorite ensembles, Blitzen Trapper from that last refuge of the Pacific hippie, Portland. While the dragonflies continued their swooping mating dance, Blitzen Trapper faced down the sun and mixed in songs from their newest album, “Destroyer of the Void,” with such crowd favorites as “Furr,” the title track from their 2008 release. Lovingly wrought songs of many descriptions distinguishes this band from so many acoustic leaning rock bands. And their singing inspired countless dragonflies to make love.
