OK, this has definitely been the highlight of Lollapalloza weekend so far. Will it be topped? I doubt it. Had a chance to chat with [lastfm]Johnny Marr[/lastfm] and we quickly got to the subject of running.
I’m currently in training for the Chicago Marathon, running on behalf of Rock For Reading, and talking to a rock ‘n’ roll legend about how we go crazy when we don’t get our daily runs in was pretty damn cool. We talked about how easy it is to get runs in while traveling (all you need is a pair of shoes), how it clears your head and helps your mood, and I told him about one of my favorite Chicago running routes when he mentioned that he had a run coming up later that evening. Helluva nice guy, too. He played on Sunday with his band [lastfm]The Cribs[/lastfm] @ 2:00 on the Parkways Stage.
