Last night, a reunited [lastfm]Soundgarden[/lastfm] played their first show since 1997 in their hometown of Seattle.
You’ll be able to see [lastfm]Chris Cornell[/lastfm], [lastfm]Kim Thayil[/lastfm], [lastfm]Ben Shepherd[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Matt Cameron[/lastfm] as Lollapalooza headliners this August in Chicago.
There’s no word yet if the band is planning to record new material, but as part of National Record Store Day, Soundgarden re-released its first 7-inch vinyl single, “Hunted Down” b/w “Nothing To Say,” which originally came out in 1987 on Sub Pop.
